Save Darfur
The crisis in Darfur is the first genocide of the twenty-first century. Over 400,000 civilians have died, 150,000 from violence. 2,500,000 people have been forced to leave their homes or have fled to displacement camps. In the displacement camps people continue to suffer from violence, murder, rape, and unacceptable living conditions. Many people in Darfur are still out of the reach of help even though there are over 14,000 aid workers in Darfur right now helping out. One way you can help right now is to donate money for Darfur, one of the thousands of websites that offers donations is http://www.savedarfur.org/content. Obviously another way to help out is to become an aid worker, physically helping out in Darfur.
